Title: Legendary Interview
Post by: The Wretched Nobody on May 29, 2017, 08:35:12 am
Orion Event

/Lance Hoffman\
Tonight I have the very special privilege to have a one on one interview with The Man who Came to Conquer the Hall of Fame! He is known as the Greatest Acquisition in WWG History!  He is WWG’s 2010 Rookie of the Year, the 2010, 2011 Wrestler of the Year , 2012 Beatdown of the Year - 2012 Tag team of the Year! WWG’s 9th Original Triple Crown Champion, 2013 Grand Slam Champion! The 2015 King of ****! And WWG's Record Setting Heavyweight World Champion! He is the Bar setting, Goal getting, Abominable, Indomitable, Harder than Hard Core, Body Bagging, Toe Tagging, Roughest Man in the Industry Today!  He is The Quintessential World Wrestling Generation Icon!

Hailing from Arnprior, Ontario Canada - by way of the Capital city, Ottawa!  Standing Seven Foot Two Inches - Two point One Five Meters Tall!  Officially weighed in at Four Hundred and Twenty Pounds, One Hundred and Ninety point Nine Kilograms!  Of course I can mean no one else besides WWG Hall of Fame’er - SCOTT CARR!

Metallica - Sad But True (Elite Force Revamp) begins playing as Scott Carr walks of the right side of the stage, taking his seat across from Hoffman.

Carr-[/b] Thanks for having me, Lance.  It’s good to be back for the Orion event.

/Lance Hoffman\
Of course, presented Live from Tokyo Japan, at The Tokyo Dome the WWG Orion Special Event on the 26th of May 2017.  Certainly you must be confident going in you’re the “WWG New Era Icon”,  “The Body Bagging, Toe Tagging, Goal Getting, Bar Setting, Title Taking, No hit Faking – Fatal Phenomenon!”, “The Roughest man in the Industry.”, the man known for being “Harder than Hard Core.”…. You’re a Legend the mere mention of “Carr” brings entire audiences to their feet.  You must be amped for the night ahead.

Carr-[/b]
Yes and No… you just prattled off the old resume, Lance… I don’t know if you mentioned it - but I didn’t hear you bring up any of the tournament wins, or group bouts I’ve ever won.  So Yes, I’m eager to get back in the ring like I always am…. but I’ve never won any of the Orion events I’ve entered.  The man Orion this event honours died tragically, albeit heroically - just before he and I got to square off with his in ring persona L.  I’ve always wanted to know who would have won… he truly was one of the best performers I’ve ever met…. and I’m at a point where I have to admit that Scott Carr just isn’t the Relevant Name anymore, ya know, Lance?  I’m up, right off the bat on the twenty sixth…. I’m the second name in Group A - 1st Fatal Four Way - and in it we have a much, much more relevant name than any other in our group - Morgan Terry,  I’ve watched this kid. He can handle the stick, he’s great to watch compete, and most importantly he has the fans on his side.  He’s a lot like me in that you either love how much you hate him, or hate how much you love him.  Terry and Carr is probably one of those One on One dream matches… but this ain’t one on one.

My era, the New Era donated two other big names aside from mine - the one and only PR Star a man who helped create one the era that saved this company.  And Lance… we have to look at the other competitor in this thing… and I’m gonna fuckin’ say it before you do, son.  Jason “Mr.Motherfuck Your Whole Day Up” Richardson.  I’d START explaining the history he and I share… but we all know what’s up don’t we?

/Lance Hoffman\
Yes, Carr versus Richardson was the booking the New Era made famous.  You two took part in some of the most epic world championship bouts to ever go down in a WWG Ring!  Does having him in the first round worry you?

Carr-[/b]
Worry?  No…. see, Richardson and I are about neck and neck for our actual win loss against one another.  Like… I spent years talking **** about that man as the “Fatal Phenomenon” but now this is just Scott Carr going into the Orion Event for a personal goal.  I don’t worry about having to face Richardson right out of the gate…. because I’m not worried about facing anybody from the first round - same as I give No Fucks who I’ll face in the Main Event, Lance!  I am not playing some gimmick this time.  The History is in the Past - on the Twenty-Sixths of May in the year Two Thousand and Seventeen…. Scott Carr has a Goal.  So it doesn’t matter if it’s Morgan Terry, it doesn’t matter to me if people see the New Era Icon.  It doesn’t matter if it’s PR Star or The Body Bagging, Toe Tagging, Goal Getting, Bar Setting, Title Taking, No hit Faking – Fatal Phenomenon!  Lance…. it doesn’t matter if it’s Jason Richardson, or The Roughest man in the Industry getting Harder than Hard Core.  Because I… as a Man… have something I intend to do.

Very few accomplishments have eluded me in my career here… the Orion Event is one of them.  I don’t have decades left in me, Lance.  Nobody should expect me to - and as a conscientious competitor I just know I can’t.  I’ve still got some fire in my belly though, and I’ve got a lot of experience at my back… I mean… like… you can ask me all night if I’m worried about coming up against this guy or that - but at the end of the fuckin’ night I’m gonna have had to face whomever I have to face, right?  Damned if they do, and Damned if I don’t - you know what I mean, son?  I’m going to reach further down into myself than I ever have before because I want this more.  And Lance… THAT…. is what everyone else involved needs to be worried about… Scott Carr is in this Orion Event and he’s here to attain a long out of reach goal.

So before we spend an hour talking about if I’m concerned about facing this person or that one… just keep in mind - I am the Winningest Man in the History of this federation.  Nobody is a blemish on my career.  There is no loss to anyone that I did not overcome.  I just don’t know how many more years I have left in me to compete in next year’s Orion, or the one after that…. so to me… it’s Do or Die, it’s Now or Never…. and that is what should make Me a man of Great Concern to every other sad sorry sack of **** who was dumb enough to sign up to an event I’m in.

/Lance Hoffman\
Well this match is absolutely jammed with talent, Scott - Group A’s second Fatal Four way has names like the returning Marcus Collins, the upstarts Ashton Stone and Drake Storm and WWG’s current second highest title holder - Mike Mewes.  None of these men would have come across your path before, that means they’re completely new ground for you to tread.

Carr-[/b]
Yeah… I know… but there’s always going to be use for psychological advantage in a match like this.  Current Relevancy might be on their side… but I’m the motherfucker with the stigma.  I’m the guy who made their relevant little asses viable and acceptable.  I’m glad they’ve all enjoyed their roads to success… but they better not forget who paved that **** so they could have such a smooth ride.  I might be heading into this event knowing these guys are younger, faster, and hell in some cases they’re even sporting cutting edge moves that I never had to deal with before - but they’re going against The Abominable, Indomitable, Baddest Motherfucking Living Legend WWG has.  I bring a world worth of talent, and a lifetime of experience with me - but I’m leaving all my mercy at home.  This one is for L, this go around is for me.  The Orion event is a blemish on my career that I intend to repair.

/Lance Hoffman\
Okay so your not worried about who you’re going to face leading up to the Finals Match - and considering your track record, playing devil’s advocate - say you you’re the Group A winner who might you like to face, or who do you see as a favourite being the Group B Winner?

Carr-[/b]
See… that’s a harder question than asking me if I’m worried about facing anybody.  Anyone could move through in this event, group matches are hard to predict - I was talking to Rayven when I’d first been contacted about coming back for this event and she hit the nail on the head…. these kinds of matches can be a complete clusterfuck.  I’ve had moments where I had just Carrbomb’ed the last motherfucker standing and then get blind sided by some fast acting **** weasel who happens to take me off my feet for just long enough to pin the other guy for the three second tanning session.  *Shrugs* What are you gonna do though?

/Lance Hoffman\
I’m not sure…

Carr-[/b]
Well in My Day - I’d wait for the next card - and beat his sorry ass publicly so everybody else learned his lesson.  Ha!  The fact is, exactly what I’d said before - I couldn’t give a **** less what anybody else says or does… all I care about is winning… all I’ve ever cared about in a WWG ring is bringing respect to this company, putting fans in those seats - and Winning, Winning, Winning at all possible costs.  There was never a superstar like me before and I dare say there may never be another like me again… and if there is, it’ll be because there is a necessity for someone to break the mould and create a new path for their following generations of stars to follow.

/Lance Hoffman\
So what will you do if you win the event?  Could there be another run for the title in your future?

Carr-[/b]
Could be, I don’t know.  I’ve watched him compete and I’m quite sure there’s a good portion of fans who would like to see The Wretched Nobody and I square off, but, that man is a sadistic individual - and he’s shown me and everyone else that he means business.

/Lance Hoffman\
He does, he’s been the one who has come nearest to your title run history.  Unlike you though, he and Grace have spent their tenure here in stables, unlike you in your pursuit of trying to make this federation break free of the tyranny of groups like theirs.

Carr-[/b]
Yeah, well some of us see the value in standing up for the weak, others are so weak they see no value in anything aside from their own success.  What I did in WWG will forever be remembered because I stood alone when others would cower away from the massive threats posed by the power hungry and avarice ridden.

/Lance Hoffman\
His newest incarnate stable; The Syndicate has been a controlling force in WWG for some time now - and what’s worse is that their led by oe of the most diabolical personalities we’ve ever met… and ironically we’ve never actually met this mysterious individual.

Carr-[/b]
Yeah, well… given time - I’d probably get to the bottom of it.  I just don’t know if it’s something WWG needs right now.  I’m not even sure if it’s a fight I’d be up for anymore.  I just know I’m back for this Orion Event - and god help anybody who stands in my way.  The Syndicate may want to strike fear into the hearts of the brave, but they just don’t scare me… and if they are so stupid as to try and curb me from my goals - that big dumb **** in the mask is going to be the one who’s ass I kick as an example of exactly what kind of behaviour made me famous.  I hope they’re all smart enough to just let the memory of L remain intact and honourable.

/Lance Hoffman\
So far - that hasn’t been the kind of tactics we’ve seen.

Carr-[/b]
Well, let’s just hope they remember who I am, if they’re planning to go out there and act like a big old pack of idiots.  It’s up to this new era of talent to take up the mantle of defending this company from those among their ranks who seek only to control and destroy it.  But… rest assured if I have to - I will stand up for it yet again.  I love this company, and I love what it always stood for.

/Lance Hoffman\
Well, we thank you for your time tonight, and we all look forward to seeing what you do in this upcoming event.  I wish you the best of luck.

Carr-[/b]
Thanks, Lance.  Let’s hope I don’t need every ounce of those well wishes, because I really do want to succeed.

/Lance Hoffman\
Thank you for joining us, ladies and gentlemen.  On behalf of WWG’s one and only, Scott Carr - this is Lance Hoffman, signing off.

The scene fades to black….

It's always a pleasure to read a Scott Carr rp, just had to say that.  It was just what it need to be, an epic moment with one the best calling his shot.  You saw the guy that talks a lot of trash, but what I think was most important is you got a chance to see the brains of Scott Carr.  You get to see how he thinks and his mindset going into a tournament like this.  You see the morality of a great fighter.  Really good stuff.

Yeah... the insults and cursing were fine in the hay day - it was more essential to try and maintain that confidence he always had... while still showing that his contributions to the fed are as important to him as one might imagine they were to the company & fans.  It's hard to be a hot air filled ego bag... once you've actually proven yourself like he has.... really... humility and a sense of being aptly humble are all one could really do imo.
