To anyone who is interested…

Ultimate Online Wrestling is currently looking to expand its roster this year for Season 2 of our heavily story driven E-Fed that sort of reads and feels like a comic book. We’ve been open for 14 months and have posted 12 well written shows on the SteemIt platform. We have over 1600 followers on there and we use the platform to make a little money from the hobby that we love. We are a laid back E-Fed for adults and we only do about 1 show a month. There is a 2 Role Play limit per show with no word limit on individual role plays.

We are a unique E-Fed in that I reward my role player’s with the Crypto-Currency XP Coin which can be converted into Bitcoin on online exchanges. We also write and do our shows in a way that concentrates on an actual audience that reads our work on the SteemIt community network. So our work isn’t just consumed by people involved in the E-Fed, but also fans of our work on SteemIt and Twitter.

If you’re interested joining our roster and learning how we do things at Ultimate Wrestling you can join our discord channel link below. Our roster and staff are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have.

Below are some of our shows so that you can get a feel for my writing style and our story-lines.

That's just it... people are emphasizing the types of things - that it's fair to say, should be taken for granted.

I'm confused cause it kinda sounds like you're saying a larger move set for the sake of more personalized matches is unimportant? Maybe important is too strong a word. I'm just saying it would be nice to see for the sake of match writers. Like for example Daniel Bryan and Evan Bourne were around the same weight. Bryan look more built probably because he has more fat but is also shorter. Yet they're stykes are polar opposites. So if you want to have a daniel bryan like technician. But don't give anything more than 2 signatures and 2 finishers, you're wrestler will be doing all types of springboards, hurricanranas. Head scissor take downs, crucifix pins. Like high flyer luchador-ish moves when that's not what you invision him to be.

Another example in the apex athlete tournament. Spider was doing a lil too much flying for me. He would have focused more on wrestling because with the risk involved in the high flying he's not gonna wanna crash and burn and take himself out of the tournament. Still the moves I was doing were moves from my moveset so I was cool with that.

I'll be honest. Whenever I wrote matches here I didn't really give a damn for the movesets. Sure they give you a great idea for moves and spots you can pull, when it comes down to it though, I mostly used it as a sense for style. So if I saw a lot of high flying moves then I would probably just have a wrestler use a move similar to his style.

Honestly, if match writers just used what moves were listed on the apps, well, that would be boring.

I always envisioned Green as a Necro Butcher type wrestler in a sense where all he can do is brawl to an extent and take the most painful looking bumps possible. He isn't even supposed to be a great wrestler.

My point was more so that - European Uppercuts and Clotheslines shouldn't really 'Need' to be put on a move list... in my mind if I see something trivial like that, in terms of a typical, run of the mill "wear down/filler move" I would assume that character intends to make a point of using that move.

I mean how many handlers have "Punches and Kicks" in their moveset?  Am I the prick here - or does that NOT seem to go without saying?

I think if people broke down their move-sets like mine is, with a brief description about the character's skill set in that area would help.  I mean Barney is a perfect example... will Barney go to the top?  Sure thing.  Is he graceful and precise?  Hell no!  But that's what a Barney Green match certainly is Not about.  So perhaps we could consider putting in a brief description of "In-Ring Style".  People could use parables sort of like a Create-a-wrestler Copy Moveset.  Not the move-set they use, but just more of a direction for staff/writers to take.  Youtube is always on, so there isn't much of a reason to not be able to find some supporting videos if a writer is unaware of a particular intention about reference to a wrestler they don't know.

So... For example, beyond listing actual moves perhaps handlers could do a little something like this

In-Ring Style: High Flyer

He flies like Rey Mysterio, but he's high pace on attacks like Sin Cara, toe to toe he grapples like Jeff Hardy.

Ya dig where I'm going there?  Veteran up high, Full speed - bouncing off of everything including the opponent on the attack, and evasive and opportunistic when going hand to hand.
