To anyone who is interested…

Ultimate Online Wrestling is currently looking to expand its roster this year for Season 2 of our heavily story driven E-Fed that sort of reads and feels like a comic book. We’ve been open for 14 months and have posted 12 well written shows on the SteemIt platform. We have over 1600 followers on there and we use the platform to make a little money from the hobby that we love. We are a laid back E-Fed for adults and we only do about 1 show a month. There is a 2 Role Play limit per show with no word limit on individual role plays.

We are a unique E-Fed in that I reward my role player’s with the Crypto-Currency XP Coin which can be converted into Bitcoin on online exchanges. We also write and do our shows in a way that concentrates on an actual audience that reads our work on the SteemIt community network. So our work isn’t just consumed by people involved in the E-Fed, but also fans of our work on SteemIt and Twitter.

If you’re interested joining our roster and learning how we do things at Ultimate Wrestling you can join our discord channel link below. Our roster and staff are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have.

Discord Channel: r/https://discord.gg/mj6Msrf

Below are some of our shows so that you can get a feel for my writing style and our story-lines.

MAXWELL LORD: THE MAN BEHIND THE MASK

“Mankind must put an end to war before war puts an end to mankind.” – John F. Kennedy

[The scene opens up in a waiting room of some sort of medical facility.  It’s quiet roughly four to five people all sitting quietly waiting.  There is a kid sitting in the corner in a gray hoody.  There is a woman sitting reading a magazine.  There is an older gentleman who looks to be having trouble working his cell phone, while another man sits nodding his head, but no music is playing.  Suddenly a door opens and a female staff member comes half way out the door.]

Female Staff Member: Maxwell Lord?

[All of the people look up trying to verify if a Maxwell Lord is in attendance.  No one says anything, and the lady about ready to walk away, until a voice comes from underneath the hoody.]

“Yes, I am Maxwell Lord.”

[The person, who identified himself as Lord, lifts his hoody from his head and reveals himself.]

Female Staff Member: The doctor will see you now.

[Maxwell stands up from his chair, and walks to the half open door, as the staff member directs him in, then closes the door behind him.  Maxwell looks at the second area of the building and it’s unfamiliar surroundings.]

Female Staff Member: It’ll be the second door on your right.  It should say Dr. Avery on the door nameplate.

[The female staff member walks away as Maxwell begins to walk down the hall.  Lord looks at the first to two doors on his right and left and neither of them read Dr. Avery, so he continues on.  He reaches the second set of doors, on his left was a men’s restroom and on his right as the staff member directed was the office of Dr. Avery.  Maxwell stands at the door and knocks on the door.]

Voice of Dr. Avery:  Come in!  It’s open!

[Lord twists the knob and pushes the door open.  He walks inside and sees Dr. Avery sitting behind a desk.]

Dr. Avery: Maxwell Lord I presume.  Glad to meet you!  Come please have a seat!

[Lord looks around and sees a brown leather chair to the right of Dr. Avery’s desk.  To the left, he sees a lounge couch.  Lord opts for the chair, and takes a seat.  Lord looks at Dr. Avery, an elderly man, with gray hair on his head and in his beard.  His glasses make him look more studious as he reviews papers on his desk.]

Dr. Avery:  As you might have guessed, I am Dr. Charles Avery.  My credentials are framed here on the wall.  I got my bachelor’s and master’s degree at the University of Stanford, Go Cardinals!  I also have my Ph.D. so you know now that I am official and I’m not trying to scam you.

[Dr. Avery lets a brief laugh as he attempts to lighten the mood with a quick joke, but no laughter from Maxwell, only a look of uninterested.]

Dr. Avery: I see you’re going to a tough cookie to crack.  So, I’ll get right to the nuts and bolts of why we are both here.  You are here today because you have failed to attend any of the voluntary efforts to have yourself counseled, so they’ve sent you to me.  This not uncommon as I’ve dealt with many returning shoulders over years and you, I presume like the rest, have your reasons.  So, what I’m going to do today is ask you a series of standard question and you reply as best you can.  Is that okay with you?

[Maxwell motions for the Dr. to continue rolling on.]

Dr. Avery: I see you marked six months to year out of service.  Do you living arraignments settled?

Maxwell Lord: I live every day until I die, that’s the arraignment so far.

[Dr. Avery crafts a smile on his face.]

Dr. Avery: That’s good Mr. Lord, but what I was alluding to was do you currently have a home residents?

Maxwell Lord: Oh, well why didn’t you say so.  I’m renting out this little apartment right now.  Nothing to fancy, just a one bedroom, for me, myself, and I to sleep.

Dr. Avery: Okay so you have place of resident, are you currently employed?

Maxwell Lord: If were to ask me this last week, the answer would have been no.  However, over the past week or so, I have found a business adventure that finally suits me.

Dr. Avery: Oh, what exactly is the job?

Maxwell Lord: I just signed an extensive contract to be a wrestler for the World Wrestling Generation.

Dr. Avery:  Wrestling?  How did you get involved with that?

Maxwell Lord: It was a chance meeting really.  I was at the gym working out, and guys were in there I guess scouting for talent.  They talked to a couple of guys before they came to me.  I wasn’t interested in the least bit on the first impression.  However, they sold with they’re presentation and things that I would be allowed to do and present on a stage like WWG.  So, after a couple of days of back and forth, they sent a contract, the next day I faxed it back to them.  Then, I received a phone call from a guy in talent relations saying that I was officially signed to the WWG roster.

[Dr. Avery is writing some notes down on his notepad, then he chews on the cap of his pen.]

Dr. Avery: Earlier in life I was big wrestling fan, heck everyone was.  I haven’t been into the sport for years, but I do remember there being gimmicks in wrestling.  Have you given any thought to what gimmick you might want to portray?

[Maxwell puts his index finger on his chin.]

Maxwell Lord: No, I haven’t really put much thought into it.  A gimmick?  The thought really never crossed my mind.  I always kind of thought that my real life story was gimmick enough.  You’ve seen my file, isn’t that gimmick enough?

[Dr. Avery is a little puzzled with question he receives from his patient.]

Dr. Avery: Uhh… Umm…. While your past may be something of a story, are you sure you want to broadcast that to the world?

Maxwell Lord: Why not?  Why should I pretend to be someone or something that I am not?  Why should I hide behind a gimmick or personality?  My life is a gimmick.  My real life story is more incredible than any story than I can make up.  Why should be afraid of who I am?  The world can be afraid.  As a matter of fact, I hope that they are afraid.  Lord knows I have had fear in my eyes and in my heart for as long as I can remember, it’s about time I share it with the world.  So, to answer your question, yes!  I want to share every piece of personal turmoil and misfortune I have ever been through with the world.  I want the world to feel my pain.

[Maxwell doesn’t realize it, but he has stood up from his chair.  He pauses for a moment and looks down at Dr. Avery, who motioning for him to calm down.  Max looks down at his chair, takes a seat and exhales.]

Maxwell Lord:  I need people to know about me.  People always how an heir to over half a billion dollars can turn out like me, but you know.  Well you know the beginning of it.  What you read in my files is only what they can put down on paper.  So, you don’t know everything, not yet.  However, I feel over the course of our meeting, you will get the whole story.  You will learn about the childhood I experience.  You will learn what the military and war combat really does to a man’s psyche.  Yeah, it’s going to be a hell of ride, and you get a front row seat.

[Dr. Avery looks down at his papers.  He writes a few quick notes.  Then, he looks up at Maxwell who’s breathing is calming down, and he write a few more notes.]

Dr. Avery: I see.  So, that is why you accepted this wrestling job, to tell your story?

Maxwell Lord: That’s a part of it, but only a small part.  I guess now that I think about it one of the main reasons is that I get to be back in combat.  As much as being in the military has scarred and changed me, and I’ll die before I go back, I’m hooked on the combat.  I tried working the regular jobs, but nothing fill the void that was lift.  I would wake up screaming wanting to fight.  I was hooked like a heroin addicted.  I guess that’s why I started going to the gym in the first place.  They pitched me on the open man to man combat.  They sold me on the wrestling.  I might not be the most experienced right now, but I’m a fast learner.

Dr. Avery: Do you know when you start?

Maxwell Lord: Yes, I have match on the first event for the company on February 12, 2014, that’s Wednesday night if you’re interested in checking us out.

Dr. Avery: I might just do that.  Have they told you who your opponent is going to be?

Maxwell Lord: It’s a guy by the name of Red Cutter.  I don’t know too much about him.  I did a little digging and found out he’s a mercenary for England, so he must have some combat skills.  I haven’t had a real fight since I took off the uniform, so this will definitely be a test for me.  He’s not a small guy, he looks bigger than me.  So, he’s got that advantage.  I think he has the heart though.  I don’t think he has the desire.  I don’t think he has the hatred built up deep inside with enough force to take me.  I’m coming to land a kill shot in my very first match.  I have found out that people don’t care what you’re saying, until you do something.  So, before I can tell these people anything, I have to show myself.  I have to win these battles.  Then, they’ll let me speak.

[Maxwell finishes up, while Dr. Avery is writing in his notepad.  Dr. Avery is getting ready to speak but Max cuts him off.]

Maxwell Lord: Sorry to cut you off, but I’m going to have to cut this session a little short.  I have a huge event coming and I haven’t event decided on what attire I’m going to where.  I want something that grabs there attention.  I need theme song, a finishing maneuver and other things, so I really need to go.

Dr. Avery:  That’s quite alright; we’ll pick up next week.  If I may make a suggestion on your wardrobe, have a symbol.  Something that people can recall you by.  It has to be something that has meaning to you and the people will associated with you and want to see you with that symbol.  It’s just a suggestion.

[Maxwell nods his head in approval.  Then, he heads for the door.]

Dr. Avery:  And Maxwell, next week we are going to start on your childhood and talk about your father.  So, I want you to prepare yourself.  Good luck!

[Maxwell stops at the door, and looks back at Dr. Avery before exiting the room.]

You know... it'd be easier to win around here without you kicking out RP's like this!

Seriously, Marcus... you know what I think of your quality of work.  Time and again you've proven to be a chameleon-like handler in your way of being able to play genuinely different personas.

You truly bring personality to your characters... and this introduction to Mad Max is an example of that.  I don't have any feeling as if we know more about Mr. Lord than he's willing to have shown us... and that's an interesting feeling to leave reading an intro-rp.

There's more to him... I don't know what... but I know there is and I'm certain WWG Greatness will find its way to Maxwell Lord... but what I adore about your writing, and always kind of have - is you've always had a way of making adaptable characters that can flow around obstacles or drive right through them.  So I'm curious to see if WWG Greatness for Mad Max is going to be Great for the rest of WWG. Wink
