Anders' Redemption

I sit in my locker room, mere hours before a fatal four way match is to occur.  I see images of the three men I am to combat.  I remember my first match in the new WWG, beating Manny Vrakas, while he was still Manny, in a quick eight seconds... I record I still hold today.  Then I recall the very next week, where Manny was once again defeated by me, this time in a longer bout, to earn me a spot in the WWG World title tournament.  Flash forward to a month later, where Miseria was on the wrong end of the Forever Underdog's upset victory, pinning the first ever WWG World champion.  Then to the triple threat match for the WWG World title, against Miseria and the Wretched Nobody.  I remember the blood pouring from my head.  I have to flashback a long while, before the WWG was a well known business, to remember big, bad Barney Green.  He beat me clean for the Pure Pride title... I look down and see the Carnage championship on my lap.  It's a reminder that I couldn't defend the Absolute title.  I was able to find a way to Underdog this title away from Nick Savage though.  That's what I have to be proud of.  All three of these men have seen one on one competition with me, and maybe the Forever Underdog can pick up another upset on my quest to finally reach the top of the mountain.  I look up and to my right, in the mirror... Its a mask... I know that mask... I turn around... Nobody is there... I just saw Nick Savage in my locker room... He was JUST there... Oh well... I pick up my title, turn around and open the door to my locker room.  I stop at the thought of a note on my door.  It's in a female's handwriting, that I know.  It doesn't have a signature, and all it reads is “See You Soon XOXO” with a pair of lips at the bottom of the paper.  This is a love note.  I have a gut feeling on who it is, but I don't have time for that.  I ball it up, throw it in the garbage and walk toward the ring.

“I LIVE FOR THE APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE! I LIVE FOR THE APPLAUSE-PLAUSE, LIVE FOR THE APPLAUSE-PLAUSE1 LIVE FOR THE WAY THAT YOU CHEER AND SCREAM FOR ME, THE APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE!”

The hot crowd hits their feet as the Forever Underdog walks out from behind the curtain.  Anders slowly makes his way to the ring, where Manuel Vrakas XIV, Barney Green, and Miseria are already waiting.  Anders slides into the ring, receives the microphone from the announcer and speaks as the music dies.

Anders: Tonight, these three gentlemen look at me as an afterthought.  Even though I have won two-thirds of the triple crown championship, these men think they can just ignore what I have done.  Tonight though, I prove them all wrong.  I am the Forever Underdog.  I am the Nerdist... I am the leader of the Nerd Herd... Believe in Anders...

Anders hands the mic back to the ring announcer, the bell rings and the action is underway.

Just got super swamped. Should've been asleep hours ago lol. Have leadership class and actual class tomorrow.
