{The camera opens up inside of a podcast studio where we see Dan the Podcast Man sitting at his desk behind his computer. We also see Slipshod sitting across in the other chair with headphones on and a boom mic in his face. Slipshod, not one to dress up, is wearing black jeans with a royal blue t-shirt, his hair is messed up spiky and he has grown in a goatee. Slipshod, still showing that scowl that he has been known for, is sitting there looking like its a waste of time.}
Dan the Podcast Man: "Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of BACK. STAGE. HOORAH! My name, as always is Dan the Podcast Man and today we have a great guest, as always, with us, none other than Slipshod is here today for this weeks backstage blowout show. Slipshod, how are you feeling?"
{Slipshod looks at Dan with that look he always has.}
Slipshod: "How am I feeling? What kind of question is that? You know damn well how im feeling because you've been watching the show! You saw me get my ass whipped at Pure Hate and my injuries havent fully healed up. So, to answer your question, im feeling pretty damn miserable but as soon as you start asking better questions, maybe ill feel better."
Dan the Podcast Man: "Well Slipshod, you're happy as always, and we wouldnt expect any less from you. First off, to kick off the show here lets just go ahead and say that what a great turnout this weeks Carnage was when none other than BLACKOUT was in charge. It was a very interesting night to say the least but going back to you Slipshod, you were featured on the card and you were in a match with Yolandi Visser, how did it feel to be in a tag match with a girl?"
Slipshod: "The way I see it is it doesnt matter whether its a man or a woman getting in that ring because as soon as your in that ring, your ass is on the line. Yolandi happened to be my partner and I wasnt going to go out there and treat her like a damn cream puff, powder puff girl, I was going to go out there and make sure we got the job done. I didnt expect her to be treated that way anyhow and thats exactly what I got. We won the match, plain and simple, and thats the end of the story right there."
Dan the Podcast Man: "We also saw you got some revenge on Ascension, did that satisfy you?"
Slipshod: "It didnt satisfy me at all man because plain and simple, my beef is not with Ascension. Sure they were there, sure they were the guys that damn near took me out, but you know as well as I do that they were just puppets. They were being controlled by a higher up and I always go after the one who pulls the strings man. That's exactly what im doing and thats exactly what ive been trying to do for the past few weeks, im going after Licious who is the guy pulling all the strings. Hell, I could very well go after Kavanagh who is pulling Licious' strings, but I know deep down Kavanagh is too much of a crybaby to actually want to put up or shut up. He has Licious do all of his dirty work for him and thats fine, because Licious is the one that will catch a beating."
Dan the Podcast Man: "This feud, this altercation between you and Licious, its heating up to become something great dont you think?"
Slipshod: "What're you saying?"
Dan the Podcast Man: "I am saying that the last time we saw Licious in a ring was when he fought Red Cutter I believe, and he put him out of the company for good. Do you think this feud between you two will lead to a match later on down the line and if so, do you think that match will win Best Match of the Year?"
Slipshod: "Hey man, I dont really give a damn on if this thing leads to a match or not. Fact is, no matter what this thing turns out to be I am going to get my hands on Licious one way or the other. Now, it doesnt matter if it leads into an official sanctioned match or if it just leads to me kicking the hell out of him somewhere backstage, all that matters is Licious better have one eye straight ahead so he can see where hes going, and one eye looking back so he can see where im coming."
Dan the Podcast Man: "You have been very vocal on Licious, you have practically called him every name in the book and have tried your best to get under his skin but he has stayed relatively quiet and professional about the situation. What are you thoughts on him not really acknowledging it? Do you think he might be underestimating you?"
Slipshod: "You're damn right hes underestimating me and thats the number one mistake he will ever make in his life! Licious walks around with a high head and a huge ego and I get it, when you got a man like that in charge of certain things in this company, it would be pretty difficult to not have a huge ego. At the same time, you need someone around to bring you down to earth if you get that way, I am that guy. I am the guy that is going to grab Licious by his dirty, greasy hair and drag him right back down to Earth to make sure he knows that there are certain people you simply cannot just walk on. As far as him being "professional" about it all, well thats where I beg to differ. I dont see Licious being professional about anything, hell, do you think it was professional to put me in a match against 3 guys at Pure Hate?"
Dan the Podcast Man: "Well I mean he did offer you that and you did accept. Its not like he made you do it."
Slipshod: "You're damn right he offered me that because he thought I wouldn't accept it. He knows that every wrestler that competes at a pay per view gets bonuses, Licious offered me the crappiest deal to get on the card by the off chance that I would say no just so he didn't have to pay me a bonus. Well news flash for him, I accepted it, not only that, but I brought in Jakob Hystaria who then brought in Scott Carr and we got one over on his hippie looking ass."
Dan the Podcast Man: "That was a historical moment there is no doubt about that, but at the same time Licious managed to get what he wanted."
Slipshod: "And that's my point exactly, the guy always "manages" to get what he wants so it all leads back to the question, how has he been professional about it? He is not a professional guy, because at the end of the day Licious is only looking out for Licious and that's fine, because that's what I do. I only look out for me, always have and probably always will, but then again, im not the damn second in command of the company! Licious hasn't been vocal about this because he knows that the second he opens his mouth, he's going to light a fire. The way I see it, the fire has already been lit man, and from here on out anything else that is said or done from me to him or vice versa, its only gasoline being added."
Dan the Podcast Man: "Do you think Licious will set up a match between you two?"
Slipshod: "I just said it doesnt matter, dont you listen? I just said it doesnt matter whether or not he sets up a match between us, I am going to get him one way or another. Sure, you know what? Sure, I do prefer to be in a 20 by 20 ring with the guy so I can hand his ass to him without any repercussions being thrown my way, without the constant legal bullshit, but I just dont think the guy has any GUTS to make that happen. That being said, I am going to have to take my chances and find him backstage just to rip his greasy hair out and stuff it down his throat!"
Dan the Podcast Man: "The anger you express toward Licious is so intense and deep you would think, if you didnt follow what was going on, one would think that you two have a huge history and that he ultimately screwed you over. When I look back at where this all started, I dont really see anything of the sort. I dont see a screwjob or a history, I just see Licious having you escorted off the shows for a few weeks. How did that really get under your skin?"
Slipshod: "Do you wanna look at my paychecks I got for that show and tell me otherwise? That's right, you probably dont because I know your podcast show doesnt really generate the kind of money we get as a talent, and im not knocking your little show here im just saying when you have been top billed like me, when you have busted your ass like me and when you have made a name in this business like me, you get used to being paid a certain amount. So when Licious was getting me booted off the shows he was damaging my paychecks because I wasnt getting any air time. And you know what? It isnt even really about the money, I could quit again tomorrow and never come back and my life would be well paid for in the future, its more about wasting my damn time. For months Licious and Kavanagh got together in their little huddle and decided to pin point where I would go. They knew I was coming back but I told them I would do so only if they didnt waste my damn time. So far, what have they done? They have WASTED MY TIME. They stuck me here, they put me there, and when I expressed my disliking for their shotty ideas, they had me booted off the shows. This isnt about money, this isnt about a little title run or a little trophy being handed to me, now its about disrespect. I earned my respect in this company, whether you like me or you hate me, I earned my keep. Licious doesnt think that way, he has disrespected me as a man, he has insulted me as a man, and he has treated me like a little boy. If I dont like something, he thinks he can take it all away, well guess what? When I get my hands on Licious, im going to take everything HE has away. I am going to treat him like a little spoiled rotten kid and take all of his power away because when you're in a hospital bed, you're not in charge of anything. When you're lying in a room and cant move your arms, you're not demanding anything. That's exactly what im going to do to Licious, the gloves are off, the challenge is issued, now lets see if that arrogant prick has the stones to make it happen. Are we done here?"
Dan the Podcast Man: "That is our time actually, this is Dan the Podcast Man and this was my guest Slipshod who had very vivid words about Licious. Slipshod issued a challenge, will Licious accept? Find out on next weeks Carnage and join me next time on my podcast where my guest will be Grace Brutal! That should turn out very interesting, join me next time!"
{The camera fades out.}
