Dark Incantations

We fade in on another undisclosed location. Again Grace is set up to practice the craft however this set up seems more for conjuring. The altar faces North, an altar bowl adorns the center of the occult set table. She places a yellow candle behind the altar bowl. A red candle goes in front of the altar bowl. Then she place the blue candle to the left and the green candle on the right side of the altar bowl. Carefully she lights them all in the same order with the same flame before saying a prayer silently and blowing out the long match used to create the fire. Grace place an athame and photos of every current member of The Family on the altar leaned against white candles as the Family quarters around the ritual circle. Grace touches and Blesses each white candle with Goddess oil as she says the following:

Grace::
"Winternyt o' joyous night,
I fill this candle to burn so bright.
Let joy and harmony fill our life
And extinguish it from theirs.
Take all their power and flow it into us,
From this hour to next Winternyt.

Winter winds blow this night,
show us your power and might.
Starry sky glow and shine,
Make the moon luminous everthine.
Winter Oldman, as you travel on your way,
Pass not my house before winterday.
Knock on my floor and leave your sign,
Letting me know prosperity is mine.

Mother Moon bless my home,
grace my family with your powers,
as through the sky you roam.
Lady Winter bring your gifts onto me,
My family, my friends for all to see.
Bring joy and happiness, laughter to me,
New friends, new loves and new family.
And if these gifts are not for me to own
Give them to someone who I know.
Silver and gold, drink and food
Deliver to me all that's good.
This I pray on the Winternyt
With my heart, with all my might."

One by one Grace lights all the white candles and allows them to burn, leaving them as if she intends for them to extinguish each completely out on its own. Grace stand tall and holds the athame high. Visualizing the energy of the cosmos striking the athame and going into her body, charging her up. Fill herself with this energy and hold it inside yourself. Grace’s arms rise as she recites a spell of the Steel Coffin, aimed at Ascension...

Grace::
“Hear my voice! I call upon the guardians to protect me in radiant white light. By the powers of the elements I shall be safe here.
Earth! I ask for your strength! Wind! I ask for your wisdom! Fire! I ask for your vitality! Water! I ask for your tenacity!
I take of this energy and ask that is it blessed to protect me on my journey into the Unseen Realm. I call down the power of my soul and of the gods that are loving and protective of me to protect my ritual ground, because evil will be summoned here. By the will of the gods and my personal guardians I ask that I be safe for all times.
Earth, Element of the North Wall be sealed. Wind, Element of the East Wall be sealed. Fire, Element of the South Wall be sealed. Water, Element of the West Wall be sealed. Spirit the binding force of evil, watch the seals placed here.
In the name of Jakoba, the God of War and Death. May Ascension crumble before you? Jakoba take these men and crush them.
Put a steel coffin around each, and set fire to it. Fuel the fire with their flesh. Make walls of steel come down and crush Ascension.
Die, Die, Die, for me you worthless animals! See you in Kurane, burning in an oven. Your grave shall be made before your eyes!
By the power of my authority I open this circle and release the guardians from my command.

Grace Lowers her arms so that the athame is pointing straight. Speak the line of incantation and draw in the energy of the element in that direction and light the candle on the altar in that same direction to the altar bowl. Turning clockwise to the next direction, and the next until she is back facing north. She begins gather bones of chickens already prepared, blessed and left to dry. Worked up into a frenzy of anger and hatred. This will add to the potency of her hex! Being careful to not break thinking of all Eddie Hayes as done while doing this hex. She rings a bell over the prepared bones three times and says;

Grace::
“I call upon the Ancient Ones from the great abyss to do my
bidding I invoke Cuthalu, God of Anger and the creatures of
the underworld hear me now...

I call upon you to take force to Eddie Hayes!

Bones of anger, bones to dust
full of fury, revenge is just
I scatter these bones, these bones of rage
take thine enemy, bring him pain
I see thine enemy before me now
I bind him, crush him, bring him down
With these bones I now do crush
Make thine enemy turn to dust
torment, fire, out of control
With this hex I curse your soul
So mote it be!”

When she says this, she knocks the bones off the table and down to her feet where she ferociously stomps and crushes these bones as if they were the enemy before her. When she is done she carefully sweeps them up into her hand and places the remains in a bag. She
will sprinkle the dust and remains of the bones on your enemy's property to finish the curse. Grace peers outside and we notice the clouds moving through the sky.

Grace::
“This person, after this curse is cast, will know unbearable pain, both mental and physical… Eddie Hayes should have kept his hands to himself. He took what wasn’t his… now he’s going to get what he deserves.”

She smiles upon the full moon hung so high in the inky black sky as we hear an old clock chime in midnight.

Grace::
"Moon, Moon, I call upon you,
Destroy Eddie Hayes - I want him through,
Poison his soul, wither his mind,
Leave no part of him behind,
Let them cry and be in pain,
Let them lie and go insane
Make him think he is scum,
Make him wish death would come!"

Grace opens her eyes and looks around at the surrounding members of The Family. Nick’s head tilts to the side, he is aware of who comes next, Rayven keeps herself controlled but looks as if it is quite the chore for her to remain sullen and focused.

Grace::
"Moon, Moon, I call upon you,
Destroy Colin Burn I want him through,
Poison his soul, wither his mind,
Leave no part of him behind,
Let them cry and be in pain,
Let them lie and go insane
Make him think he is scum,
Make him wish death would come!"

The smile on Rayven’s face widens as she adds timely spices to the open altar bowl.

Grace::
"Moon, Moon, I call upon you,
Destroy Derek Kronos I want him through,
Poison his soul, wither his mind,
Leave no part of him behind,
Let them cry and be in pain,
Let them lie and go insane
Make him think he is scum,
Make him wish death would come!"

Grace bathes in the pale moon light cascading through the window. Then, lifting her head she stares up at the moon while chanting.

Grace::
"Moon, Moon, I call upon you,
Destroy Marcus Collins I want him through,
Poison his soul, wither his mind,
Leave no part of him behind,
Let them cry and be in pain,
Let them lie and go insane
Make him think he is scum,
Make him wish death would come!"

Another two curses and Rayven throws another handful of the unknown herbs into the bowl amidst the altar Grace steps back to the altar and picks up seven twigs, one to represent each day of the week. The twigs are ash for Monday, beech for Tuesday, elm for Wednesday, oak for Thursday, horsechestnut for Friday, yew for Saturday, and elder for Sunday. Take them home, snap them into pieces, and burn them in the hearth or bonfire.

Grace::
“Ill luck is broken, As these words are spoken.

One and only Satan,
Morning star Lucifer,
Mighty Belial,
Great Leviathan,
Please hear my prayer,
And do something for what I say!
Please give me strength,
To see straight.
Give me power
To take back what is ours.
Give me ambition
Your word to listen.
Protect me from suffering and pain
My faith You will gain.
Guide my soul to victory
Upon all my enemies.
Satisfy my greed and lust
In You I forever will trust.
From the current pain my soul save
Send upon me a protective wave.
Satan, Lucifer, Belial, Leviathan,

Glorious Satan help me through my days
Be may Protector,
Stay by my side
Catch me if I fall

Archangel, dark angel

The prayer finished and Rayven took a step closer to Grace, placing a pale hand onto her shoulder.

Rayven::
“Sweet sister, you know I would not mock you for your faith. But these gods you name: Jakoba, Cuthalu, Satan, Lucifer, Belial, Leviathan, even the Moon itself. If you or anyone else among us believe in them, then by all means, more power to you. But when it comes to which gods or powers I choose to put my trust in, I ask only one simple question of them. ‘What have you done for me lately?’ I’ve asked this question of all of those you have prayed to here tonight. I’ve asked it of others. Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Shiva, and nameless others. All of them have given the same reply, and the reply is the same as what they’ve done for me. Complete silence and nothingness.”

She knelt down and picked up a small skull that had been sitting on the floor - too small to be human, though the shape of it was right.

Rayven::
“When I look at all that has happened to me in this life, I find only one power that seems to be doing anything to help me get what I want. There’s only one force that pushes me forwards and brings my goals into my hands. It’s that same force that has brought me here to the WWG, that has put me in this place amongst my true family, and that delivered my precious Carnage title into my hands. That force is me, myself, and I.”

She squeezed her hand around the skull until it collapsed to dust and her hand closed into a fist.

Grace::
"Gods are irrelevant, Faith in anything especially ourselves - is what it will carry us all. We must all pull together so that we can all go our own ways and know that which we deserve shall come to life. Who we call upon makes no difference... it is what we do and to whom. It is the blood we spill that creates the mark we so leave on this federation."

Rayven gave a wicked grin to Grace, then moved past her to where Wretch stood and placed a hand to his chest.

Rayven::
“The blood we spill this night will belong to Eddie Hayes and The Ascension. Sure, some of our own may get mixed in with it, but that only lends our power into making our accomplishments stronger. These will know that The Family is not to be **** with when we are done with them, and they will serve as a warning to others who would dare to follow their footsteps and try the same.”

A shift in her gaze as she looked to Nick now, and walked to him, placing that same hand to his chest.

Rayven::
“And in time, big brother Nicky, your gold will return to you. But until then, do not think that your role here is diminished at all. You are just as important to The Family as any of us, don’t you ever forget that. Forget whatever silly lies Starla has planted in your head, and forget the dead weight of the Carnival you insist on pulling along with you. All you need is us, brother, and your power will be complete once again. On that, you can quote the Rayven…”

Grace steps around the altar and into the circle of The Family. Grace looks at each and every one. Wretch sways back and forth, Nick seethes ready for a fight and Rayven too looks around at them. Nick and Wretch have always had respect and reverence for one another though it seem more how Rayven looks at them which Grace takes notice of. Rayven's gaze connects with Grace's own. Grace smiles and softly nods as Rayven steps to her Family.

Grace::
"A feast in a season dread of famine. Nourishment and Gold are going to be scarce.... The Family should collect their Gold and Cannibalize anyone who would come looking for it. I Love you all.... Blessed Be, our whole Family."

Rayven::
“The powers are with us this night. All who stand against us will fall like all those who have stood before. None are safe. Save yourselves! For tonight, Rayven leads The Family to war.”

She took Wretch and Nick’s hands into her own, and the trio walked off camera as Grace watches on.
