To anyone who is interested…

Ultimate Online Wrestling is currently looking to expand its roster this year for Season 2 of our heavily story driven E-Fed that sort of reads and feels like a comic book. We’ve been open for 14 months and have posted 12 well written shows on the SteemIt platform. We have over 1600 followers on there and we use the platform to make a little money from the hobby that we love. We are a laid back E-Fed for adults and we only do about 1 show a month. There is a 2 Role Play limit per show with no word limit on individual role plays.

We are a unique E-Fed in that I reward my role player’s with the Crypto-Currency XP Coin which can be converted into Bitcoin on online exchanges. We also write and do our shows in a way that concentrates on an actual audience that reads our work on the SteemIt community network. So our work isn’t just consumed by people involved in the E-Fed, but also fans of our work on SteemIt and Twitter.

If you’re interested joining our roster and learning how we do things at Ultimate Wrestling you can join our discord channel link below. Our roster and staff are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have.

Discord Channel: r/https://discord.gg/mj6Msrf

Below are some of our shows so that you can get a feel for my writing style and our story-lines.

In one fed i was in for a short time they had a thing where the boss would post the card in a way were he would leave a sot for a segment, so it would roughly go like this.

1:Opening segment: This would be for the boss only to say what ever he wants to start the show.
2: Segment 1.
3: Segment 2.
4: Segment 3.
5: Match 1.
6: Segment 4.
7: Segment 5.
8: Match 2.
9: Segment 6.
10: Segment 7.
11: Match 3.
12: Segment 8.
13: Segment 9.
14: Main event.

You get the hang of it, Anyway all you would have to do is request a part of the segment in the show and Brad can confirm whether you can have the segment or not.

What does everyone thing?

Problem with this is, usually I don't know how many segments until I go to do the show. Sometimes people send me last minute, sometimes I add last minute.

It could be worth a try IF folks would dedicate to doing segments.  More so even just to help you organize shows - OR if say Jdub or I had to step in for you last minute sometime to get a show posted.... the show would be all mapped out already.

Quite frankly if you opened this up and a handler doesn't send in their segments..... too bad for them.

And people could send you segments as "Segment 1" etc. or even leave it open to your choosing by saying "Segment ??" so you know where on the card they want it without having to go over absolutely everything - I know segment placements have been a pain in your ass before.

Overall I think it could just make your life easier and perhaps lighten your work load.  At this point I think we're rocking experienced handlers who 'should' know where they want things and I'm always available to help people with creative aspects such as Where a segment could go in a show Smiley

I honestly don't see the point to this? It's pretty much what I do now? And with Summarised results it dosent really matter where the segements go.

Unless I'm missing something, I didn't quiet understand when I read it. Do you mean when I post the card for example.

Single Match
Trine Larsen vs Rayven.

Segment 1

Segment 2

Match
Eddie Hayes Vs Wretch

Match
Trevor Vs Nick

Segment 3

Segment 4

Main event?

As the match card? Or what am I missing?

All this is, Is to give a guide for the handlers to see where they could put there segments in, Could make it a little more handy and space the show a little.

From what I am understanding of Chris's suggestion would be done more like a match writer post, rather than a card. Handlers don't really need to volunteer for writing "Segment 1" but when they do send one in they can tell You.

I think this breaks down the show for handler's sake more than yours, if it's done with the same thought as posting a match writer's thread.

If you posted to get match writers you could lay out the show at the same time - so when a handler sends in a segment it's more easily organized.  I think he means it to be sort of like this:

Opening Segment

Single Match
Tony Blackwell vs Mark Conrad

Segment Band 1

Championship Tournament Match
Nick Sadistic vs Abram Adams

Segment Band 2

Championship Tournament Match
Trine Larsen vs Derrick Trotter

Segment Band 3

Championship Tournament Match
Yolandi Visser vs Rayven

Segment Band 4

Championship Tournament Match
Eddie Hayes vs Alexander Lord

Segment Band 5

Championship Tournament Match
The Ascension vs Trevor Blackwell

Segment Band "WWG App"

For example - I'll write:

Championship Tournament Match
Trine Larsen vs Derrick Trotter

Championship Tournament Match
Yolandi Visser vs Rayven

But I'm sending in for Segment Bands 1, 2, 3, & 4.   That does not mean anyone else can't send them in for the same segment band... but either when a handler sends in a segment - or even if they want to get a little creative and call it in the thread just the same way someone calls a match to write.

The difference being that we wouldn't want to limit handlers from sending in segments.... and from reading Chris' original example layout; that is what they were doing.  This fed tried a "Sense of Urgency" by letting only so many segments be done.

That reads to me as if there are only so many segment spots available between each match and that's all - in that fed.

For us - I think a version of it could just let handlers work a game plan.  And if/when you get sent any in it could/would be more organized for you. Smiley

That fed i was in no one was sending in segments, We would have had about 7 or 8 matches and on a couple of us would send in segments which really spoilt the show, One of the reasons I left. And when we did this system it changed and we got all the spots filled.

But I like Carrs way a lot better it doesn't restrict you on how many segments you can send in.

I basically run it like that in my head, works better for me then having it on paper.
