Breaking News: Slipshod Officially Retires!

WWG has released a statement today announcing that WWG Legend Slipshod has officially retired from active competing. Slipshod has garnered much success in the WWG and quickly climbed the ranks when he debuted back in 2011. Slipshod is a former Nxt. Gen. Champion (now inactive) and a former WWG World Heavyweight Champion. He caused a lot of controversy when he formed the infamous stable known as The Contingent, along with Jakob Hystaria, Dolph Ziggler, and Sidious, they tore through the WWG disposing of all of its legends while quickly cementing their legacy. 2 of the 4 members are now WWG Hall of Famers, as well as good friends and bitter rivals. Jakob Hystaria and Slipshods history dates back to grueling matches and strong alliances, so one can assume that Jakob Hystaria himself will issue a statement on Slisphods retirement. Slipshod has not been seen around much lately, but word got out that he told the WWG reporters that its time to hang up the boots. Slipshod has had an amazing career and while many will be sad to see him go they can look back and relive his chaotic moments in the WWG, like when he saved the WWG Hall of Fame from being banned by Licious. Slipshod is the only WWG superstar that was never beaten for the WWG World Heavyweight Championship when he was stripped of it by Gabriel Tizo back in 2012. Damn that is not good, A while back when Rayven was world champion you got my hopes up when you said that you were going to challenge for that very title.

Now my hope of actually seeing you in action have been dashed all I can hope for now is that you may say never say never.

Jakob Hystaria:
There are two signs that you are getting old in this industry, you no longer have a six pack, and everyone around you are disappearing. I am sure that Slipshod feels that everyone is walking away from the industry, as I am sure the people that he trained with are either spread across the world or out. I never would have though 38 years old would have been old, but in wrestling that is, as was 37 for me, when I retired last year, it was more of figuring out what to do, so that will be the biggest thing for you, as they say, all crazy things must come to an end. As Slipshod ends, Bobby will begin. It was a pleasure, out of all the feuds we had the most fun, and out of the wars, we again had a lot of fun. Go find some more fun, and try not to make the papers.
