The scene opens on Scott Carr appearing to us on what looks like an online video feed, he takes a sip of what we can assume to be coffee out of a WWG mug. He sucks the fluid from his moustache and licks his lips as he puts the mug down.

::Carr::
Hey everyone, Welcome to my home all the way up here in the Canadian Muskoka's! I’m going to start this off with a message to all you New Age kid, it’s time to talk about something many of us face when pursuing our goals in this life…. Straight talk - Here’s the price of success…. Loneliness. It’s said a lot that “It’s Lonely at the Top” and being the holder of the greatest Win-Loss record WWG has ever had…. I can tell you how true that is. I can count the Real friends I had here on one hand - and have enough fingers left over to flip off every motherfucker who hated me.

While reaching for success, it seem like the more you become focused on your dream, the more your friends will tend to avoid you… if not turn on you entire. Maybe even those closest to you like friends or family seem uninterested in our pursuit to be better. I know I spent years on top - and it didn’t make me Mr. Popular. As you come closer to your dream you realize that you can’t spend as much time with your friends as you once did. You find yourself continually canceling get togethers because of appearances. You skip out on a night out cause you need to get **** done. Your friends hit the bar while you are lifting a barbell at the gym. Your friends ask you to come hang out with them at the club. You refuse because you need to work on your material to do better business in the ring.

When starting the road to success, it is important to understand that loneliness is part of the process. There are going to be times where you need to separate yourself from other people. Some people voluntarily separate themselves from their friends. Others are hit with a harsh reality that their friends voluntarily separate themselves from them. Whatever the reason one thing is for sure. The road to the top can become lonely.

When this happens to the select few of you who are going to make this Era great - don’t be too surprised. Many people fighting to live their dreams are going through the same thing, the very same people who lace up their boots in the dressing room right beside you. As you ascend the ladder in WWG you’ll get your own dressing room - you’ll be celebrated for your accomplishments… When you do this don’t think that you’re doing something wrong or being antisocial. Most people spend so much time trying to be among friends, convincing themselves that they know their friends more than they know themselves. Who are you? Often times many people see who their true friends are, and who they are when they’re on top.

Never be ashamed of spending time to find out who you are. You are doing things that most people can’t do. You will achieve things most people wish they could achieve. Most people have a hard time with this because they see others with friends having a good time. They think they’re missing out on something great. There will always be another Friday night. The bar isn’t going anywhere.

What’s better? Going out every weekend with your friends and returning on Monday to a low paying job, jerking curtains exactly like I know for a fact that you hate, or spending a few nights alone to escape from the rat race and live the life you want to live?

Blowing your money at the club and having to work more hours during the week to pay the bills, or taking time to work on yourself so the next time you are at the club money won’t be an issue.

The choice is yours. There are some people out there though who don’t have a choice. People working hard in a dark basement developing their craft while you’re out partying it up. People out there who in time will be those people who can afford the VIP room… Which person do you want to be? Tell me in the comments below. Is the road to the top becoming lonely for you? What is keeping you motivated to keep going when you have to refuse to hang out with your friends?

My advice to all of you; Continue your hustle, ignore the loneliness. You are your own best motivation - you who created this new age… just know the price of success, success comes with a heavy cost and it takes more than just wanting a title to have it.

Carr picks up his coffee the soothing aroma caresses his nasal passages, seeping into his lungs like a silk sheet. He licks his lips as his mouth waters as the coffee nears his lips only to be taken in by a desperate yearning mouth. The coffee warms his tingling tongue as it slips through his throat. The satisfaction cannot be foretold with words but his expression shows the utter content of the very essence.

I am doing this live feed because I have been given an assignment by WWG to do an interview with one of the current talent. It's an opportunity that I wasn't exactly excited about but then I had a good think on the matter and I decided that it was the best way to do what I originally and always had intended to do for the company. Our past talent needs to work towards a better future even in our absence… so I am glad that I am getting a chance to work with one of the outstanding new competitors that have kept the WWG alive and well.

The thought occurred to me when I considered that even the greatest champion looks back on their career - inevitably they're going to remember their foils as oft as they let their minds drift to hopeful opponents both bound and fated to forever be One More Match Too Far...

No one is truly unstoppable… yet in an occasional fortunate generation of wrestling, fans get to witness a champion who is Indomitable. It was my hope - being that man to my generation - that I would blaze a trail which someone else would further. Now I see that potential in someone else and since WWG won't let us have a show down I decided that I would instead try to get to know him beyond the regrettable first encounter he and I had.

Some aim to win a title - few are willing to be the type of person who Dominates as a Champion. I am the Mic Dropping Instant Main Event Man… I know what it takes to win and stay on top of WWG’s rankings. I set the bar higher for everyone who came after my debut… and I see another man who has done that. A man much more a literal monster than I was ever and yet when I watch him in the ring I see him for more than the character WWG packages and sells. He has learned everything he knows about wrestling in a short Indy run and our very own WWG ring. The man has gone toe to toe with Everybody who is Anybody… and usually won. He is an uncanny presence and an amazingly precise powerhouse. I trained my entire life in various combative sports and he still unleashes impact unlike anything a mastery of fighting can offer… The Wretched Nobody isn't some shell of a creature… The Wretched Nobody is Unbridled Passion unleashed on a Win at all costs approach to a career. With Grace in his corner he's been hard to write off as a completely Kayfabe concoction… it's hard to not notice what he does when she's so vocal about it. Though he's the one who has gotten into that ring and won the matches that have made him a champion. He leaves everything in that ring every time he fights because he has had that taste of fame and success. And like him or not, it is undeniable that he has created an aura of fear and hesitation about stepping foot in the ring with him. Just like when I competed full time, many a competitor try to play the “I’m not scared of you” card and that's cute… but it's also known amongst the roster as some pretty famous last words. No one has stood toe to toe with him and walked away with the same confidence that they entered the feud with.

I don't think it's a surprise that I am talking about the current WWG champion - The Wretched Nobody. I won't say I am entirely looking forward to this considering the last encounter we had but I am eager to see what I may be able to find out with his journey of growth and self discovery. When I last met him face to face he was a mangled, inhuman monster who didn't speak… now he is one of the most captivating microphone gods this federation has ever known - and when I say that, you know it's a heavy duty statement.

Carr pauses for a moment and looks over the top of the laptop monitor - in the background we can hear the heavy footed running and joyful screams of his small children at play. A warm smile creeps across his face as this man once known as Hate - shows a deep love unlike we’ve seen from him. A thought seems to cross his mind as he looks back into the camera.

::Carr::
I have my reasons for not going after The Wretched Nobody, but Kai doesn’t have those same reasons to hesitate - and that’s why I’m going to do this interview with Wretch without an agenda of my own. I want to try and get to know what someone like Nobody thinks going into such a major match. As a former champion, I’d like to think I’ll know if he has what it takes to win against a competitor like Kai, but I’m just not sure anyone can ever be certain of absolutely anything where Nobody is involved. He’s unlike anyone I have ever met in my entire life - and I have travelled this entire world over again countless times… I have met All sorts. Kai has his hands full, we all know this. Nobody has shown that he can and will absolutely dominate anyone who gets in that ring with him. More so those who’ve dared to upset him at all… So many have gone after Grace, Kai went after Nobody’s stigma, he went after his pride. Kai aimed for the Man, not the woman by his side. You all know I am a bit of a cinephile - and never has a quote, even one paraphrased ever suited so well - She is fearless and crazier than him. They became the King and Queen of WWG, and God help anyone who has disrespected the Queen. However Kai has slapped the King in the face and declared war… The Perfect Storm is adrift in uncharted waters… and I don’t think any of us are certain how it’s going to turn out. So check out the interview I have with The Wretched Nobody later, it’s a WWG Podcast Special - maybe we’ll find something out together, and maybe I’ll just **** him off all on my own!

Sticky Fingaz “Man Up” plays in as we see Carr sitting on one side of a wide interview desk. Across from him, in no way, shape or form dressed at all better than he ever is in the ring is The Wretched Nobody - and between them is Nobody's eerie owl shaped belt.

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome! You guessed right, You're the lucky suckers all tuned in to the sit down! Tonight, I have with me - The Gold Holder! The Wretched Nobody…. aaaaand later on we’ get Grace out here if we have time, and the GHB I put in the tea she was having when she was getting her makeup on backstage.

₩retched Nobody> She had a call from WWG’s head office about the match.

A guileful grin creeps across half Scott's mouth before it's stopped by him saying...

::Carr::
I'm absolutely certain that is entirely a true to life coincidence because there is No Way that anyone besides The Syndicate can pull strings and make things happen.

₩retched Nobody> It wouldn't matter if they did… The Syndicate is intertwined… The Syndicate is Real.

::Carr::
Yeah, Real Typical of my day. And regardless of the fact that a few years back I'd have rolled under that bottom rope and started dealing out Car Bombs to the whole lot of you - Today… you are collectively known as one of the greatest and mysterious powerhouse, blue chipper stacked stables the federation has ever seen. And for some reason you all have a reach with unknown lengths. Speaking of length… does The Syndicate have enough power to make you keep that belt?

₩retched Nobody> You don't amuse me and you can stop trying to humour yourself. The Syndicate’s reach may be of concern for you… and if you need to be assured of anything… rest assured that Nothing of WWG’s modern era is any of your business.

::Carr::
Ooooh I think I could make it my business - but what would be the point if The Syndicate isn't backing the World Champion?

₩retched Nobody> They backed me Before I was world champion….

::Carr::
Well… like a lot of other former champs - they backed you TO become world champion…. At least from that clusterfuck of a match I watched. You were busy picking bones from an epic match, so maybe you didn’t notice?

₩retched Nobody> And how exactly did you win all Your titles?

::Carr::
I won them in matches… by my damn self. I was in a tag team - but I never needed a stable. I was a wrecking ball for fools who think that the numbers game wins every time.

₩retched Nobody>
Numbers don’t win matches…. I do.

::Carr::
Yeah… I know how that goes, bud. But YOU aren’t even the star of your own story. Grace isn’t here because I didn’t want Grace here - I wanted to talk to You. You are the guy who’s in there with Kai, and I have an eye for talent… that boy is a BIG stack of money in the eye of any promoter I’ve ever met… and he’s got that ring clocked. I watched that match when he took you out - and I watched your rebuttal. You whooped his ass from pillar to post in stipulation matches… all so that when the bell rings on your show down - he could go in there and do the same thing to you all over again.

₩retched Nobody> HE WON’T!

::Carr::
He might….

₩retched Nobody> I won't let him walk away with my belt, Carr. That's all there is to it.

::Carr::
Who said **** about you leaving him in any shape to walk away? We all know you are capable of getting back up - but we've all seen seen him put your back down. So… what are you going to do differently?

The Wretched Nobody sits back in his chair for the first time, slowly his gaze raises up to Carr. With a hard empty glare he stews deeply beneath his mask...

₩retched Nobody> What I intended to do differently than I did during that time you're dwelling on… is use everything I have learned since. I am not going to try and abuse Kai - I am going to obliterate him. I have battered Kai in our battles… and I have payed attention. Every pace has been counted and the Perfect Storm is coming to his inglorious defeat.

::Carr::
…...Alright, that's what I want to hear Son!

₩retched Nobody> You shouldn't be so excited…. What I do to Kai won't be easy on the eyes. Hide the children and turn away the weak - The Wretched Nobody is going to Draw the Line!

I am one among a rampant charge towards the belt…. The Syndicate demands Order to be restored. I am the Darkness… the balance of Everything is measured in my hands… you may have been The Bar Setter, I am the Devourer of Gods. Your time is Over - and I am already nearly at your record…. in much less time.

::Carr::
Yeah… good for you too! That's only happened because I signed the contract to back you two degenerates getting a shot here. You're Welcome.

₩retched Nobody> I didn't Thank you. I am where I am in this company because I put myself there! I am a Star unlike anything even You became… and I have time to do so much more than you had.

::Carr::
Yeah… that's kinda like - the entire **** Point of my career. No big deal, right?

₩retched Nobody> Not anymore…. I'm here now. You don't Matter anymore, Carr. So talk down to me…. son. Insult my career and accomplishments… but My career has only begun and it already rivals yours. It matters less, and less every single day what you Did. All that anybody cares about today… is what I do.

::Carr::
Witty, ****. I still said it better, you gigantic slobbering ****.

₩retched Nobody> You have become that which you tried to eliminate. Don't patronize me with your meaningless superiority… it's a waste of your time.

::Carr::
Until you can do better than I did you're just talking ****. Until you beat Kai you aren't bringing order to anything… I've known men like you - and you can't count on some stable to save you.

₩retched Nobody> Stable? That's your highest bid? I have had Family stab me in the back and kick my in the face… Stables are teams with a common purpose. The Syndicate is the ever reaching grasp of True Power…. not a team. Moreover… I won't need saving on Carnage - Kai will.

I hope you're close enough to watch that…. I hope your old eyes can bare witness to what I do to him. Watch, Carr… watch me bring Order back to your Chaos.

I don't believe that You of all people are going to stand at the forefront of Order. I never knew what you'd become but I knew that you were the creature designed to go further than the limits I set. Why let the acclaim go to the likes of Grace and The Syndicate… they use you.

₩retched Nobody> Isn’t that what everyone does? You used Jakob Hystaria…. didn't you?

::Carr::
Sure did, tag teams work better with a tag partner. So yeah… I used him so that Both of us could become better legends. I bet he just feels like a hoe for it too. But we didn't cut one another's throats…. we just became unstoppable together. However I see you towing the line for all The Syndicate. They aren't toting titles like you are.

₩retched Nobody> Neither are you… and you still fool yourself into thinking that you're important and relevant. Delusional confidence in the time you've let slip through your fingers… trying to prove you’re something different… I just Am…. I don’t have to prove anything. I just need to exist.

::Carr::
Well spank your ass bright purple and call you Mildred… aren’t you something to call the neighbors about. You do know how many people measure your big ugly ass in my shadow?

₩retched Nobody> I am the Shadow...

Carr smiles and puts his head down on his arms on the desk. He comes up, stifling a laugh Scott shakes his head as he sits back in his chair. The Wretched Nobody, growing more angry by the instant at this insolence.

::Carr::
Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows! I know…. You’re pretty full of ****.

The Wretched Nobody leaps to his feet kicking his chair back away. Carr raises one eyebrow and his smile creeps to the same side, calmly he stands up nearly eye to eye with Nobody.

::Carr::
What are we gonna do, Pretty Boy?

The scene fades to black…. And “To Be Continued” appears on the screen.
